Scope of the Conference

 

To provide a forum for Mathematics teachers to share experience, see best practise and understand the latest developments in the teaching of mathematics to the 11 to 19 cohort and take part in hands on sessions, led by experienced practitioners .

This year’s conference will appeal to more senior staff and in particular Heads of Maths and Schools Leaders. There will be more interaction and more workshop sessions to increase the value even more of the conference to senior staff

Structure of Conference:

 

Plenary session with high profile speakers at start and conclusion of the day, parallel sessions through the day on subjects such as Problem Solving and getting the curriculum right, Student Engagement, Technology and Innovation.

 

Presentations given by expert, experienced professionals and there  plenty of chance to participate in Q&A sessions, to talk to speakers and fellow participants and to share experience, know-how and ideas.

 

Breakout Sessions covered nteractive activities and workshops to increase the value to delegates

 

The conference in 2015 featured an expert panel in‘Brains Trust’ session, a lively and informative session and a closing session on Financial Literacy in the Maths Classroom

  • Organisations directly supporting them 

  • Management in service providers, Awarding Bodies, inspectorates, regulators, publishers, systems suppliers, trainers and recruiters.
